Birchwood Capital Partners was founded in 2010 by David Strouse after deciding it was an opportune time to leave his position as Chief Investment Officer at Continental Realty Corporation.  In his 21 years at Continental, David handled, as principal, more than $750 million in acquisitions, financings, and dispositions.

Since its formation, Birchwood Capital Partners has completed over $750 million of new deals for a total of $1.5 billion in total transaction volume.  The Company has transacted for a select client base primarily consisting of some of the largest development companies in the Mid-Atlantic.  Birchwood Capital Partners has also closed debt and equity transactions with over 25 lenders, institutional partners, and various private investors.  David brings a successful track record that spans 30+ years in dealing effectively and efficiently in all facets of commercial real estate.
